PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika officially opened the 2025 Marching Competition at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Monday (4/28/25). This event is part of a series of commemorations of National Education Day (Hardiknas) at the Bogor Regency level in 2025.
Ajat is proud of the participation of the participants. A total of 201 groups, with more than 6,000 participants from various levels of education, participated in this competition.
"This is a special moment. This participation is not just a competition, but a real manifestation of our commitment to foster a high spirit of learning, improve the quality of education, and foster a spirit of discipline, creativity, and intelligence in our children," said Ajat.
Ajat also emphasized the importance of discipline in the education process. According to him, discipline built from an early age is an important provision to face challenges in the future.
"We want children to not only excel, but also be accustomed to facing pressure with a strong spirit. This Marching Competition is part of an effort to shape that character," he added.
He also appreciated the ranks of the education world in Bogor Regency who continue to innovate and continue quality improvement programs, including the provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure such as drum band equipment.
"Hopefully this event will run smoothly. Stay enthusiastic, stay healthy in the hot weather, and ensure the availability of drinking water for all participants," he said to all committee members and participants.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Bogor Regency Education Office, Nina, in her report explained that the 2025 Marching Competition aims to foster a spirit of nationalism, nationalism, patriotism, and become a forum for channeling students' interests, talents, and creativity.
"In addition, this activity is expected to be able to build sportsmanship and togetherness among students," said Nina.
Please note, the implementation of this competition is divided into two days, namely Monday (28/4) for kindergarten and junior high school levels. Tuesday (29/4) for elementary school levels.
The competition categories consist of Concept for Kindergarten level and Parade for Elementary and Middle School level.
According to him, the number of participants consisted of 12 kindergarten groups, 101 elementary school participants, and 68 junior high school participants. All drum band equipment used in this activity was assistance from the Bogor Regency Government.
"The 2025 Marching Competition event is not only a lively event, but also full of educational values, in an effort to form a generation of students in Bogor Regency who are creative, disciplined, and have character," he added.
