PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Head of the West Java Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning (DP3KAB) Service, Siska Gerfianti together with (Pj.) Chair of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (TP-PKK) Amanda Soemedi agreed to advance women in West Java.
This meeting discussed the West Java Women's Vocational School which will soon be launched. The activity took place at the Pakuan Building, Monday (10/6/2024)
Siska said that women have a very important role as supporting the progress of West Java Province.
DP3AKB West Java Province as the agency that oversees women's empowerment is very serious in implementing this program, one of which is the West Java Women's School.
Amanda welcomed the activities that would be held positively and was enthusiastic to be involved further.
"This West Java Women's Vocational School must be realized as soon as possible because this can push women in West Java in a more advanced direction," he said.
Furthermore, the Head of DP3AKB also conveyed plans to move the location of the West Java Women's School which was previously located at Jalan Turangga No. 25 Bandung City becomes Holy Road No. 22 Bandung City.
Later at this location, Women's School alumni can use the facilities in the building to implement the skills they acquired while attending vocational classes.
"The West Java Women's School can also be used by alumni who have graduated, for example, alumni who do not yet have a place to practice, can use the premises and facilities at the West Java Women's School," concluded Siska.
Apart from that, this meeting also discussed preparations for the 31st National Family Day at the West Java Province level and presentations by representatives of the Regional Children's Forum in the context of National Children's Day 2024 at the West Java Province level. (DP3AKB Jabar/Revo)
