Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu said that the Semarak National Education Day activity was a forum for students throughout Bogor Regency to compete for talent and creativity as well as a form of appreciation from the Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) for all stakeholders and the educational community for their contribution in educating the people of Bogor Regency, which is the next generation. nation.
According to him, this activity is also in line with the spirit of independent learning which of course cannot be separated from innovative, creative ideas and thoughts. Because in this activity there are various competitions such as science, sports, arts including exhibitions of creative products and arts and culture performances.
"This is not just a competency and ceremonial event, but is a means to jointly build an educational character that is creative, healthy, skilled, supportive, has a leadership spirit, is communicative and collaborative," he said.
Asmawa invited us to continue independent learning at Bumi Tegar Beriman, as a form of effort to build the character and profile of students who are Pancasila-minded.
Head of the Bogor Regency Education Service, Bambang W Tawakal, stated that independent learning is part of the Bogor Regional Government's efforts to improve the quality of education in Bogor Regency, one of which is implemented through today's activities.
"Today we all gathered to see and explore the abilities, interests and talents of students as well as teaching staff and educational staff in Bogor Regency," he said.
He said, there were 40 creativity stands in each school starting from PAUD, TK, SD, SMP and SMA/SMK. There were 35 cultural arts performances from students and teachers in Bogor Regency
"Through this event, the identity of Bogor Regency students who have character will be shown," he said.
He added that efforts to improve the quality of education were also carried out through the appointment of 90 Activist Teachers spread across five sub-districts of Cijeruk, Rumpin, Pamijahan, Nanggung and Tanjungsari.
