PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The spirit of welcoming the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence was vibrant within the Ciamis Regency Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK). The celebration, held on Wednesday (August 12, 2026), featured various activities that not only brought joy but also strengthened togetherness, maintained health, and evaluated the implementation of PKK programs.
The event began with a fun walk in the Ciamis town square or Raflesia Park. The Ciamis Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) family enthusiastically participated in the event, as part of an effort to maintain fitness and strengthen ties.
Following the fun walk, the series of activities continued at the East Joglo Pendopo of the Ciamis Regency Secretariat, with healthy exercise and a gift exchange. The atmosphere grew warmer as participants shared and enjoyed each other's company, clad in the red and white spirit.
The Chairperson of the Ciamis Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Hj. Kania Ernawati Herdiat, also attended and participated in the series of activities. According to her, the activities to celebrate Independence Day are not just a recreational activity, but also a momentum to strengthen the unity and spirit of the TP PKK family.
"We must fill the spirit of independence with positive activities. We must be healthy together, maintain social interactions, and most importantly, maintain unity," he said.
Following a series of sports activities and gift exchanges, the event continued with an evaluation of reports from each Working Group (Pokja). This evaluation is crucial for ensuring that various PKK programs and activities are running smoothly and serves as a basis for improving future program implementation.
Through this evaluation, the Ciamis Regency PKK TP continues to encourage each Working Group to carry out its tasks and programs optimally and provide real benefits to the community.
The momentum of welcoming the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence also serves as a reminder that the spirit of independence can be realized through simple things: moving together, maintaining health, strengthening ties, and continuing to contribute to society.
