PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Regional Government ensures that the rights of workers in Bandung City regarding Holiday Allowances (THR) can be fulfilled by the business world. This was conveyed by Acting. Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono.

He said, as of Thursday 4 April 2024, there was a report to the Bandung City Manpower Office Complaints Post regarding guaranteeing the obligations of the business world. Even so, the report has been forwarded to the West Java Province Manpower and Transmigration Office and he is sure it will be completed in the near future.

"Until now there have been no significant reports. In fact, today we visited PT. Tarumatex. Here far from H-7, THR employees already have it," said Bambang at PT. Tarumatex, Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Bandung City.

Bambang hopes that the business world can fulfill the Central Government's mandate regarding workers' rights during holidays (THR). In this case, the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower also provides THR for workers who are given H-7 before Eid al-Fitr.

"We have high hopes that all businesses in the city of Bandung can implement the government's mandate regarding employee rights on Hari Raya. "That way, we feel that the year's Hari Raya in Bandung City will be conducive," said Bambang.

In line with Bambang, the Head of the Bandung City Manpower Service (Disnaker), Andri Darusman, confirmed that up to now the business world in Bandung City has fulfilled its workers' obligations ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

He also explained that there was a complaints post at the Bandung City Manpower Office for workers. Apart from that, workers can also take advantage of the online THR complaint service which can be accessed via the website poskothr.kemnaker.go.id, call center 1500-630 and WhatsApp (WA) channel at 0811-9521-151.

So far it's safe. "Hopefully it remains safe, and workers can check the Bandung City Manpower Office website, or contact the Bandung City Manpower Office's social media channels if there is information they want to find," said Andri. (Diskominfo Bandung City/Fauziah)
