PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Strengthening synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Bekasi Regency Government is considered key to maintaining regional stability and accelerating regional development. This cross-sector collaboration is necessary to ensure optimal development programs and maintain regional security.

This was conveyed by the Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, when attending the Handover of Position (Sertijab) of the Commander of the 0509/Bekasi Regency Military District Command (Dandim) from Lieutenant Colonel Arh Sabdho Aji Wibowo to Lieutenant Colonel Inf Michael Ronald Simbolon, which took place in the Babinsa Hall of the 0509/Bekasi Regency Military District Command, Friday (20/2/2026).

The Acting Regent of Bekasi emphasized that the collaboration between the TNI and the local government has been effective and has had a real impact on the community.

"We truly feel that the synergy we've built so far isn't merely ceremonial, but truly addresses the needs of the community," he said.

He expressed his appreciation to Lieutenant Colonel Arh Sabdho Aji Wibowo for his dedication and contribution during his tenure as Dandim 0509/Bekasi Regency.

"On behalf of myself and the Bekasi Regency Government, I would like to express my gratitude for the collaboration we have built together. We have implemented many programs, from the Red and White Cooperative, road and bridge construction, to the TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program, whose benefits have been directly felt by the community," he said.

According to him, the success of these programs is an important foundation for accelerating equitable development and strengthening regional resilience.

"He has left a positive legacy for the people of Bekasi Regency. This is a positive milestone and a stepping stone for continuing collaborative work in the future," he added.

To the new Dandim, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Michael Ronald Simbolon, the Acting Regent expressed his hope that the synergy that had been built could continue to be improved, both in terms of development and strengthening regional security.

"I welcome you and wish you well on your assignment in Bekasi Regency. We hope the collaboration between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Bekasi Regency Government can continue to strengthen, as security and development are inseparable," he emphasized.

He also emphasized that regional stability is a primary prerequisite for creating an investment climate and regional economic growth.

"We need a safe and conducive environment for development to proceed optimally. Therefore, we must maintain synergy between the regional government, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and all elements of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda)," he said.

Asep ensured that the Bekasi Regency Government would always open up space for constructive cooperation with the TNI.
