PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - After hundreds of years of leaving Bogor Regency, the Binokasi Crown was brought back to its original area. Made of pure gold weighing around 8 kilograms and decorated with local jade, the crown symbolizes the greatness and legitimacy of the power of the Sundanese kings.

The Binokasih Crown is a heirloom from the Sundanese kingdom that was transferred to the Sumedang Larang Kingdom. This crown was made in the 14th century by Prabu Bunisora Suradipati from the Galuh Kingdom.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto welcomed the arrival of the Binokasih Crown from the Sumedang Larang Palace at the Panji and Binokasih Crown Parade event. The crown was brought from SMK Negeri 1 Cibinong to the Regional Secretariat Auditorium, Cibinong, Monday (4/21/2025).

The arrival of the Binokasih Crown is a symbol of the starting point of the revival of the Land of the Strong Faith, Kuta Udaya Wangsa.

Rudy said that it was a source of pride for the people of Bogor Regency to be able to see firsthand the crown that left Bogor Regency hundreds of years ago.

"The Binokasih Crown has returned to Bogor Regency for the first time and we took part in a procession together entering the Bogor Regency Government office," said Rudy.

Rudy expressed his gratitude for the honor given to Bogor Regency so that Mahkota Binokasih was allowed to stay one night in Bogor Regency. It was something that meant a lot to all the people of Bogor Regency.

"The arrival of the Binokasih Crown is a symbol of the starting point for the revival of Bumi Tegar Beriman with the motto Kuta Udaya Wangsa," said Rudy.

Rudy said, the Binokasih Crown is not just a historical relic, but also a symbol of the dignity and legitimacy of the power of the Sundanese kings. The Binokasih Crown Parade in Bogor Regency is one part of the preservation of history and cultural progress.

"The carnival witnessed will not only be a spectacle, but will also be a reminder of the pride of our ancestors in the past which shaped the identity of the Sundanese people today," said Rudy.

Radya Anom Luky Djohari Soemawinata from the Sumedang Larang Kingdom explained that the Binokasih Sanghyang Pake Crown is not just an heirloom that is guarded and cared for. According to him, this historic crown is a symbol of affection, wisdom, and the cultural identity of the Sundanese people.

"By bringing this crown from Sumedang to Bogor Regency, the Panji and Binokasih Sanghyang Pake Crown Parade is not only a form of ceremony, but also an educational and reflective step in reintroducing the nation's identity which is rooted in the noble civilization of the archipelago," explained Radya Anom Luky Djohari Soemawinata.

After the procession of the Crown of Binokasih Sanghyang Pake, the activity continued with the socialization of Leadership Based on the Philosophy of the Crown of Binokasih. The community was also treated to the excitement of a people's party and the event was closed with a puppet show.
