PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The 2026 West Java High School and Vocational High School New Student Admissions System (SPMB) began on Monday (May 18, 2026), including at the Excellent Human School (Maung). Students will receive registration accounts from May 18, 2026, to May 22, 2026. SPMB registration at Maung School will then be held on May 25, 26, 28, and 29, 2026.

The Head of the West Java Education Office, Purwanto, said that there are three registration paths for Maung School: academic potential with a quota of 10 percent, academic competence with a quota of 70 percent, and non-academic competence with a quota of 20 percent.

"At Maung School, there will no longer be a zoning route," said Purwanto at the Kick Off of SPMB Maung School, SMA, SMK, SLB West Java 2026 at Arcamanik Stadium, Monday (18/5/2026).

Maung School SPMB registration is done online through the Maung School application https://maung.spmb.jabarprov.go.id using the account given to prospective students.

There are 28 public senior high schools and 13 public vocational schools to choose from when registering for Maung School.

Condition

Prospective students who register at Maung School must meet several requirements, such as being a prospective student who graduated from junior high school/Islamic junior high school/equivalent in the current year or the previous year and must be at most 21 years old on July 1, 2026.

Additionally, applicants must have taken the Academic Ability Test administered by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (for the academic competency pathway). Vocational high schools (SMK) are exempt from the TKA requirement.

Applicants must also have superior potential or academic/non-academic achievements, interests and/or talents as proven by the results of the Academic Potential Test, report cards or study result documents, championship/non-championship certificates/charters in the academic/non-academic field, portfolio of work or results of activities according to interests and talents and other supporting documents.

Applicants must meet specific requirements: they must have resided in a city/district in West Java for at least one year, as evidenced by a family card (KK) and identity card (KTP). Another requirement is to attach a letter of recommendation from their school of origin stating that the prospective student has achieved high academic achievement and is interested in continuing their education at a university.

The announcement of students accepted at Maung School will take place on June 8, 2026. Then, accepted students must re-register on May 9-10, 2026. The student capacity at Maung School is 21,000 people.

Prospective students who do not pass the selection at Maung School can re-register and take part in the SPMB stage 1 or stage 2 selection at other schools that are not included in Maung School.
