PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government has again extended the deadline for filling out the New Student Prospective Mapping (PCMB) data until Thursday (June 11, 2026). This decision was made to give students more time to participate in the PCMB.

The Head of the West Java Education Office, Purwanto, stated that as of 9:00 PM on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), there were still students who had not yet completed the PCMB data. Therefore, he urged all junior high school (SMP), MTs (Islamic junior high school) and Package B graduates to participate in the mapping of prospective new students, which has been extended until 11:59 PM WIB on June 11, 2026. At this stage, students will select their target school through the provided channels.

"With this extension, more students can participate in the mapping process and gain access to secondary education," Purwanto said on Tuesday (June 9, 2026).

After filling in the PCMB data, the next stage of announcing student acceptance at the target school will be held on Saturday (13/6/2026) at 14.00.

After the PCMB announcement, students who have not been accepted at any school need not worry because SPMB stages 1 and 2 will be implemented. Students can choose schools that have unfilled quotas.

Registration for SPMB stage 1 begins on June 15, 2026, and ends on June 19, 2026. The announcement for SPMB stage 1 will be made on June 25, 2026.

If there are still students who have not found a school, they can register for SPMB stage 2 which starts on June 30, 2026 to July 6, 2026. The announcement of SPMB stage 2 will take place on July 10, 2026.
