PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has offered PT Jui Shin two solutions to address the damage to the Badami-Loji Road in Karawang, caused by the company's operational trucks. The road damage has sparked public protests, leading to a demonstration on Tuesday (September 15, 2026).

Two options are being offered: first, PT Jui Shin will construct its own road specifically for the company's cement trucks. Currently, the company's trucks travel along the Badami-Loji Karawang Road when transporting cement to the company's location in Bekasi Regency. This road is also used by the general public.

The second option is for PT Jui Shin, along with the West Java Provincial Government, to build a national-level road. The West Java Provincial Government will also build a bridge specifically for industrial vehicles.

According to KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, the Badami-Loji Road in Karawang has been repaired by the West Java Provincial Government. However, the repairs were insignificant because cement trucks constantly traversed the road.

"Hundreds of billions of rupiah will be disbursed every year just to manage the roads used by PT Jui Shin," said KDM during a discussion with PT Jui Shin in Bekasi Regency, Wednesday (16/9/2026).

Going forward, KDM will also ask other cement companies in West Java to build their own roads. Cement trucks should not use public roads used by the public.

"I will write to all cement companies that pass through provincial roads. Don't build industries without adequate infrastructure," said KDM.

According to KDM, the West Java Provincial Government has repeatedly repaired roads used by cement trucks. However, they continue to deteriorate, draining the regional budget.
