PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The West Java Provincial Government is encouraging orderly, clean, and beautiful regional planning to increase tourist visits and regional income during the Joint Roll Call for the 107th Anniversary of the Fire Department, the 76th Anniversary of the Civil Service Police Unit, and the 65th Anniversary of the Community Protection Unit at the West Java Provincial level at Garut Square (24/6/2026).

The roll call was attended by the Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Garut Regency, as well as personnel from the Fire Department, the Civil Service Police Unit, and the Community Protection Unit from various regions in West Java.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi believes that well-organized public spaces are a key attraction for supporting the growth of the tourism sector.

"I'm standing in a place that I think is very aesthetic, when all the spaces and areas are arranged and tidied up," said Dedi.

According to him, maintaining order, cleanliness and the beauty of the environment is an important part of the Civil Service Police Unit's duties in enforcing Regional Regulations.

Dedi also emphasized that firm leadership will shape the character of personnel so that they are able to carry out their duties of serving the community optimally.

"Because the troops depend on the commander, if the commander has the courage then the troops will become troops who dare to die," he continued.

He said the tourism, hotel, and restaurant sectors have the potential to increase Regional Original Income if supported by a comfortable and well-organized environment.

"So the requirement for a region to be visited, the requirement for a region to become a tourism center, is that the region is organized, orderly, and beautiful," he concluded.

The joint roll call also served as a moment to appreciate the dedication of the Fire Department and the Community Protection Unit in providing protection to the community.
