Emphasizing Family Resilience, Bogor City Government Encourages PKK's Strategic Role

PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor City Government emphasizes the importance of family resilience as the main foundation in building a prosperous and sustainable society.

Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, inaugurated the management of the Bogor City Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) for the 2025–2030 term at Paseban Sri Baduga, Bogor City Hall (15/4/2025).

Dedie said that PKK has a strategic role as a government partner in reaching the smallest units.

"Family resilience must be the main focus of the PKK program. In the midst of a changing world, the role of PKK is very strategic in reaching all levels of society directly," he explained.

He encouraged the PKK to actively support the priority programs of the Bogor City Government, especially those related to food security, health, and family education.

Dedie also appreciated the achievements of TP PKK which have had a real impact on society, especially in empowering women and children.

"Let us continue the good performance and improve it further to achieve a more prosperous Bogor City," he said.

The Head of the Bogor City PKK TP, Yantie Rachim, invited all administrators to maintain the dignity of the organization and become role models in their families and society.

"As a PKK administrator, every step, thought, and statement must reflect the good name of the organization, oneself, and the leader. So, there must be moral responsibility in every action," he said.

He explained that TP PKK will focus on strategic programs that are in line with the vision and mission of Bogor City, such as empowering children with special needs, strengthening food security, and reducing stunting rates.

"We will continue to maintain existing achievements and encourage programs that have a direct impact on family welfare in Bogor City," he concluded. (Bogor City Communication and Information Service/Fau)
