PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) recorded that regional tax revenue realization reached around Rp2.1 trillion until the end of August 2026. This achievement is a source of optimism to meet this year's regional tax revenue target of Rp3.6 trillion.

The Secretary of the Bandung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Apep Insan Parid, stated that this year's regional tax revenue target is indeed quite large. However, with the achievements achieved through August, he is optimistic that this target can be achieved.

"This year's regional tax revenue target is Rp 3.6 trillion. Today, nearing the end of August, we've already reached around Rp 2.1 trillion," Apep said on Sunday (August 30, 2026).

According to him, there are still around four months to catch up on the remaining revenue targets.

One important momentum is in September, when the Land and Building Tax (PBB) due date becomes one of the peaks in regional tax revenue.

Apep hopes that this momentum will encourage increased revenue so that Bandung City's 2026 regional tax target can be achieved.

"God willing, revenue will increase. September is also the peak because the PBB (land tax) is due," he said.

He believes that regional taxes are not just a public obligation, but also play an important role in supporting development and public services in the city of Bandung.

Therefore, Bapenda invites all people to fulfill their tax obligations in an orderly manner.

"Pay local taxes on time and in the correct amount, because by paying local taxes, residents have participated in development in the City of Bandung," said Apep.

With public compliance, it is hoped that tax revenue will be more optimal and its benefits can be felt again through various development programs and services for the residents of Bandung City.
