PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto visited the editors-in-chief of Radar Bogor and Ceklis Satu, at the Graha Pena Building, Bogor Regency, Friday (11/4/2025).
Rudy invited the media to support the development program implemented by the Regent and Deputy Regent (Wabup) of Bogor.
On that occasion, Rudy, who was accompanied by the Head of the Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) and the ranks of the Bogor Regency Government (Pemdakab), also took the time to be interviewed on the Radar Bogor Podcast.
Rudy explained that he and the Deputy Regent of Bogor could not walk alone in building Bogor Regency. It needed support from all parties, one of which was support from the media.
"Today we are visiting several editors-in-chief of media in Bogor Regency. We also plan to hold a visitation with the media crew," he said.
Asked about road infrastructure development, Rudy answered, based on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) no. 1 of 2025, relocating the budget for infrastructure development, his party has noted several road repair needs including in the north, west, and east.
"In 2025 we will carry out road repairs, one of our priorities is mining roads that are part of Bogor Regency roads," he said.
Rudy said that the Nirmala road in Bogor-Sukabumi Regency will be worked on in 2025, which will certainly open up a new center for economic growth in the West Bogor area.
Furthermore, regarding illegal mining, Rudy explained that according to the Direction of the Governor of West Java, his party agreed, including that Bogor Regency has a saber pungli team, then a task force team to eradicate thuggery.
"From the aspect of permits issued by the Bogor Regency Government, we will conduct a joint evaluation, even though the mining permit is under the authority of the province," he said.
Furthermore, approaching the implementation of New Student Admissions (PPDB) in Bogor Regency which has the potential for extortion, Rudy ensured that the implementation of new student admissions in Bogor Regency would be strictly monitored, and of course asked all parties to supervise.
"We are also preparing a team that will supervise together, all forms of thuggery, extortion in Bogor Regency will be dealt with firmly, the state must not lose to this," he said. (Bogor Regency Communication and Information Service/UPI)
