PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin officially welcomed the 2026 Economic Census officers at the Pamengkang Room in Garut Kota District, Garut Regency, on Wednesday (July 8, 2026). The Regent welcomed the officers as a demonstration of the regional government's commitment to supporting the national strategic program.

The Regent of Garut has provided the necessary data to census officials. He emphasized that active participation from all parties is crucial to determining the direction of future economic development policies.

"I invite all elements of society and business actors to welcome the 2026 economic census officers who will come with official identification from the Central Statistics Agency," he said.

The Regent of Garut appealed to and invited all elements of society, especially business actors in the Garut Regency area, to welcome the presence of officers equipped with official attributes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

He also reminded the public not to hesitate or be afraid to provide information, because the confidentiality of data provided by respondents is fully guaranteed by law.

"Provide accurate and complete data, as data confidentiality is guaranteed in accordance with laws and regulations and will only be used for statistical purposes. Our participation is crucial to producing accurate economic data as a basis for formulating development planning policies, strengthening the economy, and improving public welfare," he continued.

At the end of his statement, Abdusy Syakur Amin called for a joint movement to make this ten-year agenda a success for regional progress.
