PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Regional Government (Pemda) of Bandung City and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continue to collaborate in socializing an anti-gratification culture. The hope is that this step will strengthen integrity and eliminate corruption within the Bandung City Regional Government.

For this step, the Corruption Eradication Committee appreciates the Bandung City Regional Government in its efforts to eradicate corruption.

Head of Dissemination and Publication of the KPK Public Relations Bureau, Dony Marianto, appreciated the openness and consistency of the Bandung City Government in this collaboration.

"We are proud and happy with the openness and consistency of the Bandung City Government, especially Diskominfo which always collaborates with KPK public relations," he said.

Dony said this during the socialization event "Development of Anti-Graft Culture within the Bandung City Government" and Anti-Corruption Content Production between the Public Relations Bureau (PR) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) together with the Bandung City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo), at Bandung City Hall, Tuesday (21/5/2024)

According to him, the Bandung City Government has shown a real commitment to building a city with integrity and free from corruption, making Bandung an example in instilling the values of integrity in Indonesia.

"We are open to continuing to collaborate with various agencies and other parties to spread anti-corruption values," said Dony.

Meanwhile, Daily Acting Regional Secretary for the City of Bandung Hikmat Ginanjar emphasized the importance of collaboration with various parties in eradicating corruption.

"The Bandung City Government must be an example for the community in instilling the values of integrity," he stressed.

For four consecutive years since 2018, the Bandung City Government has received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Financial Audit Agency (BPK). This shows a high commitment to transparency and accountability.

"One of the important steps taken is to encourage the digitalization of public services to ensure certainty of services, time, processes and data, as well as reducing the potential for corruption, collusion and nepotism," he explained.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bandun City Diskominfo Yayan A. Brilyana said that the Bandung City Diskominfo plays an important role in building integrity, one of which is simplifying the applications used by the community related to Bandung City Regional Government services.

"We continue to strive to simplify public service applications from 350 to 150 applications that are more efficient and fully online, to minimize direct interactions and negotiations that can open up loopholes for corruption," he said.

The signing of the collaboration between the Bandung City Diskominfo and the KPK Public Relations Bureau marks the strong commitment of both parties in fighting corruption.

Collaboration between the Bandung City Government and the KPK also includes activities such as the KPK bus roadshow, government digital media festival, and support for the Anti-Corruption Film Festival.

Hikmat also said that this collaboration would also produce educational content about anti-corruption which would be disseminated to the public. Through these various efforts, the Bandung City Government hopes to revive the anti-corruption culture as the city's identity. (Diskominfo Bandung City/Revo)
