PORTALJABAR, TASIKMALAYA REGENCY - During the month of Ramadan, sports activities must continue to keep the body's metabolism running smoothly.

There are several differences in sports that are recommended during Ramadan. This is to prevent injury and dehydration when exercising during Ramadan.

Gebu's natural beauty filled with shady trees and fresh air makes it an ideal place to stay active during Ramadan.

Light physical activities such as jogging can be done on a comfortable path without worrying about getting too hot.

A doctor practicing in Pamijahan, Tasikmalaya Regency, Dr. Yogi Abdul Aziz provides a number of exercise tips during the month of Ramadan.

He advised not to exercise in the morning and not to do heavy exercise.

"Exercise is still allowed while fasting, as long as you don't exercise in the morning when your stomach has just been filled. The best exercise while fasting is in the afternoon before breaking the fast," said Yogi.

"Next, do not do heavy exercise such as cardio or soccer, just do light exercise such as jogging, walking or other sports," he said," he added.

It all depends on the condition of each person's body, because each individual's fitness is different.

In addition, Dr. Yogi appealed to the public to maintain hydration and maintain food intake. It is recommended to increase complex carbohydrates, high-quality protein and vitamins and minerals. (Tasikmalaya Regency Government Public Relations/rka)
