PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - The Bekasi Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) held a procession for its success in winning three overall championship trophies at the West Java Provincial Level.

These titles are, General Champion of the 38th West Java Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ), Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) 2022 and Regional Paralympic Sports Week (Peparda) 2022.

This activity started from the Bekasi District Government yard and finished at the Juang Building, Tambun Village, South Tambun District. The warm welcome from the people along the route sounded magnificent, from motorists, pedestrians to students.

"We are the General Champion, Physical and Inner. We are champions in Koran, sports are also champions," said the Acting (Acting) Regent of Bekasi, Dani Ramdan in the courtyard of the Juang Building.

The fighting building is a witness to the achievements and hard work of achieving champions in three events at the West Java Province level.

Chairman of the Bekasi Regency DPRD BN Kholik said, this activity is a history of the struggles of the athletes who competed, both in sports and reciting the Koran.

"At Porprov, they traveled outside Bekasi Regency in November 2022, and won General Champion. After that, they hosted Peparda, Alhamdulillah, General Champion too. Third, the host of MTQ-38, managed to win General Champion," he said.

This procession, he said, will be a driving force and motivation for fighters, both athletes and Qori-Qoriah. It cannot be denied that the achievement of three overall champions is the pride of the entire Bekasi Regency community.

"This is a form of collaboration that is well developed. Regional heads participate, apart from all the elements working together, achieving shared hopes. Winning the title of General Champion at the Provincial level, in consecutive years," he said.
