PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - As an effort to optimize the development of independence and provide nutrition and healthy food for inmates at the Class II A Cibinong Pondok Rajeg Prison, Acting. Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu together with the Director General of Corrections of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights inaugurated the Prabudana Roti Friends Kitchen at the Cibinong Class II A Prison (29/1/2024).
Asmawa Tosepu said that the inauguration of the Friends Kitchen and the review of bread making at the Class II A Cibinong prison was a manifestation of the government's seriousness in providing the best and excellent service, especially in the aspect of providing healthy food for inmates at the Class II A Cibinong prison.
"On behalf of the Bogor Regency Government, we congratulate and appreciate the innovation and inauguration of Dapur Sahabat. Alhamdulillah, Dapur Sahabat has received hygienic certification, of course the food products produced are guaranteed in terms of quality, we have tasted them earlier and taste delicious. "This is also our effort to optimize the development of independence for inmates in Cibinong prison, so that they have post-coaching skills," explained Asmawa Tosepu.
Furthermore, the Director General of Corrections, Reynhard Silitonga, said that talking about prisons also talks about security, guidance and health services, food services and others.
With good service and guidance to the inmates, the hope is that when they leave the inmates, of course they will be able to have skills, one of which is the skill of making bread through the inauguration of the Friends' Kitchen. When they are independent, this will have an impact on the independence of nation building and community independence.
“Thank you to Pj. "The Regent of Bogor as well as Forkopimda for their support, the presence of Dapur Sahabat is an effort to humanize all the inmates, both in the Class II Cibinong Prison and in prisons throughout Indonesia," he explained.
According to him, providing hygienic and sanitation certificates is also very important to reduce morbidity and death rates among inmates due to unhealthy food. So this hygienic certificate is mandatory for every food production service, including bread making in the Class II A Cibinong prison.
In the same place, the Head of the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, R. Andika Dwi Prasetya, said that today the Cibinong class II A prison and the West Java Regional Office detention center were able to implement and realize the instructions and directions of the leadership, especially related to humanizing inmates in all Indonesian prisons. and West Java.
One of them is by creating a good and healthy kitchen so that the inmates receive humane treatment with food that is healthy and of a good standard.
"Thank God, throughout West Java, the Cibinong Class II A prison was the first to respond. Today I will order the Head of Prison/Prison after seeing this inauguration to inaugurate it at their respective UPTs in West Java," he concluded.
