PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - The Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, accompanied by the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, and the Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin, inspected the landslide location on Jalan Saleh Danasasmita, South Bogor District, Bogor City (14/4/2025).

During the visit, the Governor gave directions to the relevant regional apparatus in the West Java Provincial Government to immediately take technical improvement steps.

"The budget allocation is divided into two, half from the province, half from the city," said Dedi Mulyadi.

He asked the relevant ranks, including the Bogor City Government (Pemkot), to immediately provide land first so that construction can begin this year.

"Later, this road (landslide location) will be changed to Leuweung Batutulis," he said.

Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, said that land acquisition for road construction will be carried out jointly by the West Java Provincial Government and the Bogor City Government.

For the implementation of development, he said he had held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Public Works and obtained a commitment of support.

"God willing, in June there will be a Presidential Instruction (Inpres) on Regional Roads, but what is important according to the central government is that the land must be prepared first by the regions," said Dedie Rachim.

As conveyed by Dedi Mulyadi, the former landslide will later be repaired and turned into the Leuweung Batutulis park and planted with endemic trees.

"Because from the results of the study, this road cannot be reused, technically there may be a spring underneath, there are two studies, one from BTP, one from the Ministry of Public Works which does not recommend the old road to be reused, but states that there will be a new route," he explained.
