PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of Ciamis Regency held a Health Seminar entitled "Refusing to be Vulnerable, Staying Charming: Healthy and Active Without Disease" in commemoration of the 54th PKK Movement Unity Day (HKG) at the Ciamis Regency Level in 2026, at the PKK Building Hall of Ciamis Regency, Wednesday (22/7/2026).

The seminar was opened by the Chairperson of the Ciamis Regency PKK TP, Hj. Kania Ernawati Herdiat, and attended by the ranks of the district and sub-district PKK TP administrators, as well as the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of regional apparatus within the Ciamis Regency Government.

In her remarks, Kania highlighted the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke, which are often triggered by unhealthy lifestyles and are now starting to affect people of productive age.

According to her, the theme "Refuse to Be Vulnerable, Stay Charming" encourages people to be proactive in preventing disease through adopting a healthy lifestyle. Charming, she said, isn't just about appearance, but also about a healthy body that enables one to fulfill their roles within the family and society.

He encouraged the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle through the CERDIK concept, which includes regular health checks, quitting cigarette smoke, engaging in regular physical activity, maintaining a balanced diet, getting enough rest, and managing stress.

In addition, the Ciamis Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) encourages mothers to play a role as drivers of family health by providing balanced nutritious food, disseminating accurate health information, and utilizing health screening services for early disease detection.

The seminar featured speakers Dr. Hj. Primahati Riana Rosy, Sp.PD., and Dr. Eni Rochaeni, who provided education on preventing non-communicable diseases and the importance of maintaining health from an early age.

In a series of activities, the Ciamis Regency PKK TP also held a blood donation at the East Joglo Pendopo of the Ciamis Regency Regional Secretariat as a form of concern for others.

Through this seminar, the Ciamis Regency PKK TP hopes that participants can disseminate the information they obtain to the community, so that awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle continues to increase and contributes to improving the health status of the community in Ciamis Regency.
