PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of Ciamis Regency held a Health Seminar entitled "Refusing to be Vulnerable, Staying Charming: Healthy and Active Without Disease" in commemoration of the 54th PKK Movement Unity Day (HKG) at the Ciamis Regency Level in 2026. The activity took place in the PKK Building Hall of Ciamis Regency, Wednesday (22/7/2026).

The seminar was opened by the Chairperson of the Ciamis Regency PKK TP, Hj. Kania Ernawati Herdiat, and attended by the Regency and Sub-district PKK TP administrators, the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) regional apparatus, and other invited guests.

In her remarks, Kania Ernawati Herdiat reminded the public of the importance of vigilance against the increasing number of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke, which are often triggered by unhealthy lifestyles.

According to her, the theme "Refuse to Be Vulnerable, Remain Charming" encourages the public, especially women, to be more proactive in maintaining their health through preventative measures. She emphasized that health is the primary asset for women to fulfill their roles in the family and society.

Kania also encouraged the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle through the CERDIK concept, which includes regular health checks, avoiding cigarette smoke, engaging in regular physical activity, maintaining a balanced diet, getting enough rest, and managing stress.

In addition, mothers are encouraged to become pioneers of a healthy lifestyle by providing balanced, nutritious food for their families, disseminating accurate health information, and utilizing health screening services for early disease detection.

The seminar featured speakers Dr. Hj. Primahati Riana Rosy, Sp.PD., and Dr. Eni Rochaeni, who provided education on preventing non-communicable diseases and the importance of maintaining health from an early age.

As part of the series of events commemorating the 54th HKG PKK, the Ciamis Regency PKK TP also held a blood donation activity at the East Joglo Pendopo of the Ciamis Regency Secretariat.

Through this activity, the Ciamis Regency PKK TP hopes that the education provided can be passed on to the wider community so that more residents will adopt a healthy lifestyle and contribute to improving the health of the people of Ciamis Regency.
