TP2D Bekasi Regency Holds Plenary Meeting to Deliver Policy Recommendations

PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Regional Development Acceleration Team (TP2D) held a Plenary Meeting for the Submission of Policy Recommendations for 2024 at the Sakura Park Hotel, Bekasi Regency, Friday (12/20/2024).

Acting Regent Dedy Supriyadi welcomed the TP2D Recommendation as an initial step in the government's transition to encourage sustainable development of Bekasi Regency that is more advanced and prosperous.

"The development of Bekasi Regency is currently facing various challenges. Therefore, support and input from all parties, including TP2D, are needed to strengthen future development planning and improve community welfare," he said.

Bekasi Regency TP2D Chairman Soni Sumarsono said that the TP2D Plenary Meeting produced 8 policy recommendations from various development sectors to Acting Regent Dedy Supriyadi and the elected Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang.

"Yes, there are 8 policy recommendations from TP2D, namely strengthening Bekasi Regency development planning, reducing open unemployment, improving environmental quality, and optimizing Bekasi Regency as a leader in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia," he said.

In addition, Soni continued, TP2D submitted recommendations related to the development of the northern part of Bekasi Regency, optimization of cultural development, increasing cooperation with the private sector and anticipation of the development plan for the Jakarta special agglomeration area.

"These policy recommendations are submitted to the Transition Team to be finalized into the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) and an action plan for the 100-day program," he said.

His party also appreciated the trust of the Bekasi Regency Government (Pemdakab) in TP2D in overseeing the acceleration of development in Bekasi Regency.

Also attending were the elected Regent and Deputy Regent of Bekasi for the 2024-2029 period, Ade Kuswara Kunang and Asep Surya Atmaja.
