PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Acting Regent of Bekasi Dedy Supriyadi, directly opened the High Level Meeting (HLM) of the Bekasi Regency Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) at the Sakura Park Hotel, Sukamahi, Cikarang Pusat sub-district, Monday (4/11/2024).

On that occasion, the Acting Regent of Bekasi appreciated the performance and commitment of all TPID members who had worked hard to maintain price stability in the Bekasi Regency area.

"Inflation is one of the indicators that determines the success of economic development in a region, and thank God, the achievement of inflation in Bekasi Regency is currently still under control at 2.34 (YOY) with a Price Development Index (IPH) of 0.74 in the fourth week of October 2024," he said.

Dedy Supriyadi also said that TPID is a coordination forum between agencies and stakeholders formed by the regional government to control inflation in its region so that it remains stable.

"TPID Bekasi Regency has committed and made efforts to control inflation by maintaining the availability of basic goods and controlling the prices of important basic goods in the Bekasi Regency area," he added.

The Acting Regent of Bekasi also hopes that through this HLM TPID activity, a Roadmap for controlling inflation can be prepared and strong synergy can be established between agencies.

"So that a strong synergy is established between all parties to achieve price stability and welfare of the Bekasi Regency community," he hoped. (Diskominfosantik Kab. Bekasi/Fauziah)
