PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi evaluated the condition of the sidewalks at Gasibu Field, particularly the one across from the West Java People's Struggle Monument. Some pedestrians deemed the sidewalks too high.

Dedi admitted that the sidewalk was indeed too high. He has instructed the West Java Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency to build steps to make it easier for pedestrians to climb the sidewalk. This will make the sidewalk more pedestrian-friendly.

"That way, there's a trap when going up onto the sidewalk, not directly from the main road to the sidewalk," said KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, Sunday (30/8/2026).

In addition, the sidewalks at Gasibu Field will also be equipped with guide tiles for people with disabilities.

He hopes that the sidewalks at Gasibu Field will always be used according to their intended use, namely for pedestrians.

"Sidewalks are not for traders, motorcyclists and cyclists," said KDM.
