PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto emphasized his commitment to addressing the waste problem in Bogor Regency by developing the Galuga Landfill into a Modern Waste Processing Center for Electrical Energy (PSEL).

This was discussed during a coffee break event attended by relevant Regional Apparatus officials, as well as representatives from Weiming Group and Danantara, at the Regent's Hall on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

Rudy Susmanto stated that the Galuga Landfill is ready to transform into a modern waste processing center capable of producing electricity (PSEL). He hopes that with this technology, the landfill will be completely depleted within 10 years.

"We are continuing to expedite various stages so they can be implemented as a long-term solution. Today, we discussed directly with the Weiming Group and Danantara, as well as several relevant regional agencies, how to resolve the waste problem in Bogor Regency," he emphasized.

Then, the Weiming Group Representative appreciated the Regent of Bogor for his support.

"We will build the most modern and best waste management technology in Indonesia," he said.

This activity confirms that the Bogor Regency Government is not only focused on current waste management but also on providing long-term solutions based on innovation and technology to ensure a clean and sustainable environment for future generations.
