PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government held a public trial of the Superior Human School guidelines on April 29, 2026 to provide educational services that meet the needs and potential of each student.
The Secretary of the West Java Education Office, Deden, said that this program was designed to ensure that all students receive fair educational services without discrimination.
"Maung School is not about discrimination, but about ensuring every child receives the right educational services, both those with high intelligence and achievement and those requiring special attention," said Deden.
The Maung School concept accommodates the diversity of students' potential, both academic and non-academic, so that talent development can be carried out optimally.
This program is also a step towards creating a model school that can serve as a reference in improving the quality of education in West Java.
The West Java Education Office involved various parties such as universities, the Private School Principals Forum, and the West Java Representative of the Republic of Indonesia Ombudsman in the public testing process.
Stakeholder engagement ensures that policy development is more comprehensive and responsive to needs on the ground.
"We really hope for input from various parties so that this program is truly on target and able to produce a generation of superior people in West Java," said Deden.
This policy has a direct impact on society by providing a more inclusive and student-oriented education system.
The West Java Provincial Government is targeting this program to produce a superior generation that is ready to compete at the national and global levels.
