PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - A total of 200 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) participated in the Socialization of Procurement of Goods and Services and Access to Financing for MSMEs which was held at the UPTD P3W Hall, Friday (24/7/2026).

This activity is carried out as part of an effort to increase the capacity and competitiveness of MSMEs, particularly through understanding opportunities for government procurement of goods and services and access to various sources of financing.

For MSMEs, capacity building is a crucial factor in business development. In addition to production and marketing capabilities, entrepreneurs also need to understand financial literacy and the various mechanisms for accessing market opportunities and appropriate financing.

One of the participants, Maya, said that the activity was an opportunity to expand networks and increase insight in developing businesses.

"The first is, of course, fostering camaraderie and networking. We can meet fellow entrepreneurs and forge mutually beneficial partnerships between MSMEs," said Maya.

The owner of the Kalendep brand also said that his participation in the activity was motivated by a desire to expand the marketing of the products he produces.

"My product deserves to be enjoyed by everyone. That's why I want to expand my marketing," he said.

According to Maya, understanding financial literacy is also crucial for MSMEs looking to expand their businesses. She noted that accessing financing is impossible without a thorough understanding of financial management and financing mechanisms.

"We don't just have access to financing. Thankfully, here we're equipped with knowledge from banking, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Indotrading. I think this insight is crucial if we want to grow our business," he said.

This activity presented a number of speakers from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), the Bureau of Procurement of Goods and Services of the West Java Provincial Government, and Indotrading.

Through these activities, it is hoped that MSMEs will gain a better understanding of government procurement opportunities, expand their partnership networks, and gain a better understanding of financing access. This will enable MSMEs not only to increase their business capacity but also to have greater opportunities to enter a broader market ecosystem.
