PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto, carried out a Surprise Inspection (Sidak) on the first day of work after the Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah holiday to a number of public services, one of which was reviewing the health facilities of Cibinong Regional Hospital and Cibinong 2 Public Middle School, on Tuesday (8/4/2025).

This inspection was carried out to ensure the smooth operation of government agencies and the quality of public services.

"Although students are still on holiday, we ensure that teachers and principals have returned to work according to the provisions. We also want to make SMP Negeri 2 Cibinong an example of a leading SMP in Bogor Regency," said Bogoe Regent Rudy Susmanto.

At Cibinong Regional Hospital, Rudy Susmanto expressed his gratitude because all levels of Cibinong Regional Hospital, from the director to the medical staff, have returned to normal activities after the Eid holiday.

"Thank God there is no permit, all come in to serve the community. We also hope that Cibinong Regional Hospital can become a better regional general hospital," he added.

Touching on health services, the Regent of Bogor emphasized that one of the main focuses of his government is to realize 100% Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2026.

"To achieve this, we need a budget of around 724 billion rupiah, and we have started coordinating with the DPRD and related agencies to make it happen," he explained.

Regarding other policies, Susmanto Rudy said that currently the data collection and monitoring of the damaged roads in Bogor Regency has stopped.

Our priority is to repair damaged road infrastructure so that the community can feel the benefits in the near future, he added.

The Bogor Regent also reminded the importance of maintaining security and order in the Bogor Regency area. Regarding the handling of fraudulent levies (pungli), he emphasized that the Bogor Regency government will take firm action against individuals proven to be involved in extortion.

"We will continue to coordinate with the Saber Pungli team and the Thug Eradication Task Force to ensure that Bogor Regency is free from extortion and thuggery," he said.

On the other hand, Regent Rudy also conveyed a new policy regarding motor vehicle tax.

"Starting in 2025, vehicles undergoing medical treatment or changing names from outside West Java Province to West Java Province will be exempted from vehicle tax, only paying the name change administration fee," he concluded.

Rudy Susmanto conveyed his commitment to continue prioritizing infrastructure development and better public services for the progress of Bogor Regency. (Diskominfo Kab. Bogor/Fauziah)
