PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government has affirmed its commitment to strengthening healthcare services through collaboration with private hospitals. This was conveyed by Bekasi Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja at the inauguration of the new face of Sentra Medika Hospital Cikarang with the "Reborn" concept (10/16/2025).
The inauguration, which took place in the yard of Sentra Medika Hospital, Jalan Raya Industri, North Cikarang, was attended by the Founder of Sentra Medika Hospital Group, Suherman Widyatomo, along with management and medical staff.
Bekasi Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja expressed his appreciation for Sentra Medika, which has been a key partner in the healthcare ecosystem in Bekasi Regency for 24 years.
"The Bekasi Regency Government continues to strive to provide the best in maximizing health services in every hospital," he said.
He emphasized that the collaboration between the Bekasi Regency Government and private hospitals partnering with BPJS Kesehatan and Jamkesda has guaranteed that the public receives adequate health services.
"No sick person in Bekasi Regency is neglected. The service satisfaction index here has reached above 98–99 percent. I would like to thank all private hospitals for their support," Asep emphasized.
Meanwhile, Sentra Medika Hospital Group Founder Suherman Widyatomo explained that the “Reborn” concept reflects the spirit of rebirth by improving the quality and totality of medical and non-medical services.
"With Sentra Medika Hospital Reborn, we want to rekindle the spirit of service so that people don't need to seek treatment abroad," he said.
He also introduced the new RCIT (Friendly, Fast, Informative, Thorough, and Responsible) service standards that must be implemented by all levels of the hospital, from doctors to cleaning staff.
Furthermore, Suherman emphasized his commitment to eliminating discrimination in patient care. "There is no difference between BPJS patients and general patients. Everyone should receive the best possible service," he said.
He hopes this inauguration will be the beginning of a more productive collaboration between the private sector and the Bekasi Regency Government to improve public health. (Bekasi Regency Communications and Information Office/Fau)
