PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Deputy Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, attended the "Blue Party" ceremony which served as the launch of Persib's sponsors, jerseys, and squad for the 2026/2027 competition season.
The event, which also introduced the Blue Prince squad, took place lively at the Bandung Arena (formerly the C-Tra Arena Sports Hall), Bandung City, Tuesday (25/8/2026) afternoon.
On that occasion, Deputy Governor Erwan hoped that the increasingly solid team composition, new jerseys, and renewed enthusiasm would be Persib's capital to achieve even more brilliant achievements in the 2026/2027 season, especially in the AFC Champions League 2 (ACL 2).
"God willing, Persib will be champions again and can do even better in ACL 2," said Erwan Setiawan.
According to him, Persib is not just a football club for the people of West Java, but also a source of pride and holds a special place in the hearts of the residents.
“It’s about self-respect, tradition, and love inherited from the land of Pasundan,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Manager and Commissioner of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Umuh Muchtar, expressed his appreciation to all parties who have consistently provided support and overseen Persib's journey to date.
He hopes that the Blue Prince will be able to show its best performance in the 2026/2027 competition season and achieve further success.
The figure who is familiarly called Wak Haji Umuh (WHU) also expressed his pride in Persib's achievement in winning the Liga 1 title three times in a row.
According to him, this achievement should motivate them to achieve more in the coming season. Persib has already won the league three times in a row.
"We all pray that this year we can become champions for the fourth time. God willing, it can be achieved. We ask for prayers from all Bobotoh as well," he hoped.
