PORTALJABAR, PANGANDARAN REGENCY - The West Java Provincial Government will explore cooperation with Susi Air to present 10 small airports in the southern region of West Java.

This was stated by the Deputy Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, when attending the 2025 Pangandaran Airshow in Pangandaran Regency, Saturday (19/4/2025).

"We really appreciate this activity and hopefully what Mrs. Susi Pudjiastuti (former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) aspires to have at least 10 airports in the southern coastal area of West Java can be realized," said Erwan Setiawan.

According to Erwan, the West Java Provincial Government is committed to supporting Susi Air and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be drawn up.

In this way, the collaboration between the West Java Provincial Government and Susi Air can help remote tourist locations in southern West Java.

"We are ready to support and support together so that Mrs. Susi's wishes can be realized. Hopefully Susi Air will be even more successful. In the future, we will work together and it is hoped that an MoU can be carried out between Susi Air and the West Java Provincial Government," he said.

The 2025 Pangandaran Air Show activity coincides with the commemoration of National Aerospace Day and two decades of Susi Air's activities.

Pangandaran Airshow 2025 is present not only as a celebration, but also as a stage to voice the importance of the role of pioneer aviation and general aviation in developing Indonesian connectivity.

For 20 years, Susi Air has contributed greatly to opening connectivity between 3TP regions (Underdeveloped, Frontier, Outermost, and Border) through pioneer flights, which are often the only transportation access for people in isolated areas.
