PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Deputy Regent Jaro Ade attended the entry meeting for the 2025 Regional Government Financial Report audit with the West Java Representative Audit Agency on February 25, 2026 in Cibinong to maintain the quality of the Unqualified Opinion.

Jaro Ade expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided by the Audit Board (BPK) in enabling Bogor Regency to once again achieve an Unqualified Opinion in 2025.

He hopes the guidance will continue into 2026 to ensure increasingly accountable financial governance and ensure the quality of reports remains up to audit standards.

According to Jaro Ade, early monitoring helps local governments prevent findings and correct deficiencies before reports are officially submitted.

He revealed that a number of 2025 projects are facing cost pressures due to rising material prices following the provincial government's mine closure policy.

This condition has an impact down to the village level, so direction is needed so that development continues to run optimally without causing legal problems.

Head of the West Java Representative Office of the Supreme Audit Agency, Eydu Oktain Panjaitan, explained that the interim audit was a mandatory assignment in accordance with statutory regulations.

He emphasized that the audit was carried out based on the State Financial Audit Standards so that the results had a strong legal basis and could be accounted for.

This synergy is expected to strengthen transparency and maintain public trust in regional budget management. (Bogor Regency Communications and Information Office/bhf)
