Karawang Deputy Regent Releases 47 SSB Athletes to Participate in Three International Competitions

PORTALJABAR, KARAWANG REGENCY - Deputy Regent of Karawang, Maslani, released athletes from the Kancil Mas Football School (SSB) to compete in three international competitions. The release was held at the Regent's Office Plaza, Monday (14/4/2025).

The three competitions that will be participated in include the Barati Cup Competition for 15-Year-Olds in Surabaya on 16-20 April 2025, the Junior Soccer School League (JSSL) Competition for 12-Year-Olds which will be held in Singapore on 17-20 April 2025, and the Bali Soccer Seven Competition in Bali on 17-20 April 2025.

On that occasion, the Deputy Regent of Karawang, Maslani, expressed his pride in the enthusiasm and achievements of the athletes who participated in the international competition.

"On behalf of myself and the local government, I am proud to see the enthusiasm and achievements of our children. This is not only the pride of parents and coaches, but also the pride of Karawang Regency," he said.

He also gave his appreciation to the parents and coaches for the support and guidance given to the children so that they were able to compete and bring the name of Karawang Regency in international competitions.

In closing, Maslani advised all athletes to maintain their health and the good name of Karawang Regency, West Java, and Indonesia when competing.

"Compete with the spirit of sportsmanship, maintain your health, behavior, and the good name of Karawang Regency. Leave with a fighting spirit and return with stories and achievements. We await your success here," he said.

For information, the number of SSB athletes who participated in the international competition was 47 athletes, 4 officials, and 4 coaches.

In addition, the Barati Cup Competition for 15 Years will be attended by 40 qualified teams from 6 countries, the Junior Soccer School League (JSSL) Competition for 12 Years will be attended by 450 teams from 15 countries, and the Bali Soccer Seven Bali Competition will be attended by 300 teams from 5 countries.
