This activity took place at the Al-Fatih Shelter, Cicendo area, Bandung City and was attended by the President Director of Asics Indonesia, Mr. Sato Fukushima, representatives of Yumaju, and the Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan.

Farhan expressed his appreciation for the initiative as a real example of the power of the community and private sector that has a big impact on society.

"The city government certainly fully supports movements like this, because Bandung is a city that grows from concern," said Farhan, at the Al-Fatih Shelter, Cicendo area (18/4/2025).

Farhan also expressed empathy for parents and caregivers of children undergoing treatment.

"I have experienced this situation personally in 2015. I know the struggle very well. But today I also see that in Bandung, there are always hands ready to help," he added.

The representative of the Al-Fatih Shelter Home, Wildan, expressed his gratitude for the assistance given to the home, which was established in 2016.

He explained that the Al-Fatih Shelter provides free living facilities, accommodation, and medical needs for children from within and outside the city of Bandung.

Yumaju Friends representative, Hari Jovian, said that this donation was generated through the annual Lebaran Run for Humanity activity which has been held for the past five years since the pandemic.

“We learned that giving in difficult times has more meaning.
"This year we collaborated with Asics, and thank God we were able to deliver this aid to the Al-Fatih Shelter," said Jovian.
