PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government has appealed to the public to maintain order in celebrating Persib Bandung's victory in winning the 2024/2025 Indonesian League 1 season.

The Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, stated that the euphoria over Persib's victory will continue until the planned champion's convoy (25/5/2025).

He welcomed the achievement and invited the community to celebrate it in an orderly manner and with pride as citizens of Bandung City.

According to him, Persib's victory this time is historic because it has won various competition formats, starting from Perserikatan, Galatama, knockout system, to full competition.

Regarding the convoy plan, the Bandung City Government stated that it is open to the public who want to take part in the celebration.

However, the Mayor emphasized the importance of maintaining order and respecting public facilities during the celebration.

He reminded residents not to damage city parks, not to litter, and to maintain norms and ethics in celebrating victory.

The Bandung City Government also prohibits all state civil servants (ASN) within the City Government from participating in the convoy, in order to focus on security and post-activity cleaning duties.

The mayor said that the government's main task is to ensure that Bandung is a good host in welcoming the champion title.

The Bandung City Government together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) have prepared security measures to ensure the celebration runs safely and conducively. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/Fau)
