PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan inaugurated and took the oath of office of 100 Bandung City Government officials consisting of 67 supervisory officials and 33 school principals at the Bandung City Hall (13/3/2026).

The inauguration was carried out as a step to refresh the bureaucracy while strengthening the quality of public services, especially in the education and governance sectors in the City of Bandung.

Muhammad Farhan emphasized that the integrity of civil servants is the main key in building public trust in government services.

"At every inauguration and roll call, I always remind people of one key word: integrity. Integrity is the face of public service in the eyes of the public. The better our integrity, the better the government's image in the eyes of the public," said Farhan.

The Bandung City Government also conducted a survey to measure public perception of the quality of public services after one year of government operation.

The survey results will be announced in about two weeks to gauge the level of public trust in local government services.

Specifically to school principals, Farhan emphasized the great responsibility in shaping the character of the future generation through a disciplined and caring educational environment.

"School is not just a place for learning, but also a place for children to grow. The values of discipline, responsibility, and caring must be instilled from an early age," said Farhan.

Farhan explained that job rotation, transfer, and promotion are part of the bureaucratic mechanism to maintain organizational performance and improve the quality of service to the public.

The job arrangement also went through an evaluation and discussion process with various parties, including the Bandung City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD).

The inaugurated officials have a strategic role in supporting the development vision of Bandung UTAMA, namely Superior, Open, Trustworthy, Advanced, and Religious.

Farhan also reminded government officials to be wise in using social media and avoid spreading unverified information.

"Avoid using inappropriate language, spreading unverified information, or content that could have a negative impact," Farhan said.
