PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim planted trees on the road leading to the location that will be built as the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) office and on Jalan R3, Monday (5/5/2025).

This tree planting is also part of the field review of the prospective Bogor City Government office area.

Of the total 20 trees planted in the two locations, the majority are Trembesi trees. In addition, Baobab trees and a number of Tabebuya trees were also planted which were previously planted by the Bogor City Housing and Settlement Agency (Disperumkim) in an area of six hectares, with a road length of about 700 meters.

Dedie explained that the access will later be connected to the Bogor Raya City area and exit at Jalan Parung Banteng or access to the Summarecon area.

Dedie said that planting trees was the initial step that marked the continuation of the Bogor City Government's office area development plan in Katulampa.

"Through this tree planting, we mark one step to continue the development plan for the future Bogor City government office area," he said.

Dedie added, this will be a symbol that Bogor City will soon continue the construction of the office area. (Bogor City Communication and Information Service/UPI)
