
PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, received an award from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) for his dedication in the environmental sector through his role as a pioneer of the Safe, Healthy, Clean, Beautiful Indonesia (ASRI) Movement in Bogor City.
The award certificate was presented by the Director General of Regional Administration Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal, during a clean-up activity at Situ Gede, West Bogor District, Friday (8/5/2026).
Safrizal expressed his appreciation to the Bogor City Government, which is considered to have actively supported and implemented the ASRI Indonesia Movement.
"Thank you to the Mayor of Bogor for being a pioneer of the ASRI Indonesia Movement in Bogor City," he said.
According to him, the ASRI Indonesia Movement is a joint effort to create a safe, healthy, clean, and beautiful environment through the active involvement of local governments and the community.
He emphasized that the movement requires ongoing commitment so that strengthening environmental policies does not stop at the ceremonial level.
"This movement must continue and be strengthened. We must not stop until we achieve optimal results," he said.
