PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri), Bima Arya, expressed his appreciation to the Youth City Changers (YCC) delegates at the XVIII National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (APEKSI) in 2026 in Medan City, Wednesday (1/7/2026).

Bima assessed that the YCC delegates were young people who had great potential to become regional leaders in the future.

"I am proud to see the young people you have sent to collaborate and build networks with fellow community activists in their respective cities," he said.

According to him, YCC participants are not only potential future leaders, but also current leaders who need to be involved in various regional development processes.

"They are not only future leaders, but also today's leaders who must be invited to collaborate and discuss urban design and various other development programs," he said.

Bima hopes that YCC participants will continue to develop their leadership capacity so that they can become regional heads in their respective cities.

"We are waiting for the first generation of YCC to one day become mayors in their respective cities," he said.

Previously, the Bogor City Delegation won the Best Delegate award at the XVIII APEKSI YCC National Working Meeting in 2026.

The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, appreciated this achievement and hoped that it would motivate the younger generation to continue working and bring honor to the name of Bogor City.

The Bogor City Government is also committed to continuing to provide space, support, and guidance to the younger generation so they can develop their potential and contribute to regional and national development.
