PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Province Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) has appealed to the public to be aware of fraudulent schemes in the name of the Jabar Digital Academy (JDA).

Head of West Java Communication and Information Service, Ika Mardiah, emphasized that JDA is a free digital training program aimed at improving the digital competence of the people of West Java.

"We are very concerned about the fraud that is using the name of Jabar Digital Academy. We urge the public to check information only through official JDA channels to avoid losses," said Ika Mardiah in her statement, Tuesday (1/21/2025)

100% Free Training, No Costs

Ika Mardiah emphasized that JDA never asks for any form of fees from participants, either during training or in the facilitation process with partners. Therefore, the public is reminded to be careful of parties who offer false benefits in the name of JDA.

"Therefore, the public is expected to always be vigilant and not easily believe parties who offer false benefits in the name of JDA," said Ika.

Jabar Digital Academy is a free training program initiated by the West Java Communication and Information Service through the UPTD Center for Digital Services, Data and Geospatial Information (PLDDIG). Participant registration is only done through the official website at https://digitalacademy.jabarprov.go.id

The JDA program is designed to improve the digital skills of the people of West Java. In addition to training, participants are also facilitated through various activities such as job fairs and webinars. All of these activities are provided free of charge.

"We provide career guidance by facilitating participants to meet with hiring partners, gain insights from practitioners, and expand professional networks through the JDA Group Community. However, we do not provide a guarantee to graduates to be appointed as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) or employees of the West Java Communication and Information Service," explained Ika Mardiah.
