PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Festival 2024 is just around the corner. Various activities will enliven the Gedung Sate area, Bandung City, on August 23-24, 2024.

The plan is that WJF 2024 will be opened by the Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Machmudin.

The public can watch various exciting events, starting from the award ceremony for the winners of the 2024 JabArt Competition Award, export release, to an electric motorbike convoy.

In addition, a number of artistic attractions were also presented on the first day of the event.

Regional artists are ready to entertain with performances of the Reak Kreasi Dance (Bandung City), the Nyentrik Ronggeng Dance (Bekasi City), the Rengkak Ayakan Dance (Bogor City), the Nyi Ronggeng Dance (Karawang Regency), the Klana Mask Dance (Cirebon Regency), and the Kaulinan Budak Lembur Theatrical (Bandung Regency).

Not only regional arts, the public can also watch K-Pop Cover Dance and Anime Cosplay performances. In addition, there are also workshops, seminars, job fairs, culinary festivals, and bazaars of MSME products.

The excitement of the first day continued with performances by local musicians. Famous names such as Rocket Rockers, RAN, Club Dangdut Racun, and others were ready to entertain the public from the main stage on Jalan Dipenogoro.

The second day of WJF will be enlivened by a mass wedding attended by dozens of couples.

On this occasion, a series of art activities were also held, such as the Mass Ronggeng Ketuk Dance (Indramayu Regency), the Hyang Dayang Sumbi Gate Dance (West Bandung Regency), the Maranggi Asih Dance (Purwakarta Regency), the Kohkol Keprak Dance (Sukabumi Regency), and the Ronggeng Ujungan Dance (Majalengka Regency).

Next, the Pinton Minggon 'Wastra Batik' Fashion Show will be held, which will showcase works from friends with disabilities. In addition, there will also be the awarding of the 2024 Smiling West Java Muslim Friendly Tourism Award.

As a closing on the second day, there will be a musical performance by Ega Robot and wayang golek performed by Dalang Kanha Giri Harja Dua Putu.

With various activities presented, WJF 2024 will certainly be an entertainment that is a shame to miss. Moreover, this activity is a series of celebrations for the 79th Anniversary of West Java Province.

But don't miss the highlight of this year's WJF. On Saturday (8/25/2024) a spectacular music concert will be held in the GOR Saparua area, Bandung City, featuring a line-up of top star musicians.
