PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG REGENCY - Acting Governor Bey Machmudin inaugurated 272 West Java Integrity Ambassadors at the 2024 West Java Youth Camp in commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day in Ranca Upas, Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency, Saturday (11/30/2024).

The 272 Integrity Ambassadors who were inaugurated are all students from 27 districts and cities. The inauguration of the 272 Integrity Ambassadors completes the total of 1,100 Ambassadors who have been inaugurated during 2023.

Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin advised the Integrity Ambassadors to be more courageous in voicing and instilling the values of honesty in everyday life.

"We must dare to speak, meaning convey honesty about the values that we must respect," said Bey Machmudin.

Bey hopes that the inauguration of the Integrity Ambassador will support the provincial government's efforts to prevent the seeds of corruption from developing into detrimental actions.

"We gather to commemorate World Anti-Corruption Day. Of course, with the many Integrity Ambassadors, it is better for (overcoming corruption) in West Java," said Bey.

"Because corruption is a matter of responsibility and honesty with the rights of others," he added.

WJYC is the Provincial Government's commitment to instilling anti-corruption values in the younger generation, as an important foundation for a cleaner and more dignified future for the nation.

WJYC 2024 will be held in four regions. In addition to Rancaupas, WJYC 2024 will be held at the Panten Majalengka Camping Ground, Sari Ater Subang, and Sarongge Cianjur.

In the same place, the Deputy for Education and Community Participation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Wawan Wardiana welcomed the inauguration of 272 students to become Integrity Ambassadors.

According to him, Integrity Ambassadors will be able to work hand in hand with the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in eradicating corruption early on.

"Today, 272 (Integrity Ambassadors) were inaugurated as anti-corruption ambassadors, this is tough, but if you guys do this in the future, it will be alone. However, if we work together with the KPK, we can eradicate corruption," said Wawan.

"The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) highly appreciates the West Java Provincial Government for fostering anti-corruption ambassadors," concluded Wawan.
