PORTALJABAR, SUBANG REGENCY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman inaugurated 236 high school/vocational high school students as Integrity Ambassadors of West Java Province at the 2024 West Java Youth Camp event to commemorate World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2024 at Sari Ater Campervan Park, Subang Regency, Saturday (11/16/2024).

This event lasted for three days with the theme "Strengthening the Commitment to Eradicating Corruption for an Advanced Indonesia."

In his speech, Herman invited the Integrity Ambassadors to make integrity the main foundation in achieving a bright future, while also contributing to advancing the nation towards the ideals of Golden Indonesia 2045.

"Congratulations to all of you. You are the future leaders who will lead Indonesia to become a developed country in 2045," said Herman.

He also reminded of the importance of consistency in maintaining the integrity values that have been learned during the activities.

"The best way to predict the future is to create it today. If you want to be a leader, entrepreneur or influential figure, start building integrity in your daily life now," he added.

Herman invited the participants to gather again on November 16, 2045 as alumni of Integrity Ambassadors, with the hope that they have become successful leaders in various fields.

"I am sure that 20 years from now, you will be proud leaders in politics, government, or the business world. Let's make Indonesia one of the Big Four Developed Countries in 2045," he said.

For three days, participants gained insight, training, and experience that will become the basic capital for spreading integrity values in their schools, environments, and families.

"You have gained insight. The next step is to execute it because insight without action is meaningless. Be a role model in your daily life," said Herman.

Through this program, it is hoped that the Integrity Ambassadors will be able to become agents of change in eradicating corruption and safeguarding integrity in West Java.

"God willing, you will become future leaders who bring pride to West Java and Indonesia," concluded Herman.

West Java Youth Camp Hakordia 2024 is real evidence of the West Java Provincial Government's commitment to preparing a young generation with integrity as part of an effort to create a corruption-free and advanced Indonesia in the future.
