PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Tofu is a food that is no longer foreign to Indonesian people. For this reason, the Bandung City Trade and Industry Department is holding the Bandung City Culinary Festival by highlighting tofu as a basic food ingredient.

Apart from tofu meatballs, tofu flower and batagor, there are also something unique, namely tofu mochi and donuts made from tofu.

"This year, there are 18 tenants at the All About Tahu Culinary Festival, filled with business people," said Head of Industrial Planning and Development, Bandung City Disdagin, Galih Praasih at Cihampelas Walk, Tuesday (2/7/2024).

Galih continued, this activity will be held on 2-7 July 2024 at Cihampelas Walk. Apart from tofu, it is also available for coffee lovers to enjoy while also enjoying snacks made from tofu.

"We raised this theme because as a coach, there is a Cibuntu Tofu Center, there is also coffee," he said.

Participants who take part in this event have been previously curated by the Bandung City Disdagin. There were as many as 60 business actors who took part in the curation.

"We hope that this will be able to improve the tofu center in Bandung City and the culinary business actors that we are fostering," he said.

One of the visitors, Syahril, considered this festival to be quite unique. Moreover, it says tofu as a basic ingredient.

"This is good, there are many variations, from sweet, salty to spicy. So the snacks here will make you full," he said.
