PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman said that the Zero Emission Zone that has been implemented in Gedung Sate will be implemented in all regional government offices of the West Java Provincial Government in October 2024.

Herman said this while attending the ZEZ Preparation Forum Group Discussion event at the West Java Provincial Government Regional Apparatus Office at the Pullman Hotel, Bandung City, Thursday ( 12/9/2024 ).

"Through the Group Discussion Forum that we are conducting together today, we will discuss and conceptualize more maturely regarding this ZEZ program, so that it will not only be implemented in the Gedung Sate area, but can also be replicated, especially in the office areas of all regional apparatuses within the province," said Herman.

According to Herman, ZEZ preparation will also be carried out in district and city government offices and other non-government areas in West Java.

"Of course, for wider implementation and sustainability of the program, in-depth analysis and evaluation, both in terms of infrastructure readiness, supporting regulations, environmental aspects, and community employee responses are very necessary," said Herman.

Herman also hopes that the implementation of the ZEZ program can bring benefits to the people of West Java.

"The most important thing is that this activity or program can bring prosperity to the people of West Java," said Herman.

All regional apparatuses in the West Java Provincial Government, representatives of the Bandung City Government, academic elements, campus representatives, related BUMNs, and automotive business entities, attended the FGD.
