PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - A step forward in population administration services (adminduk) in Garut Regency was realized with the opening of the Public Service Mall (MPP).

The public can take advantage of this facility, staffed by various agencies including the Garut Regency Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil).

Population administration services are considered crucial in gaining access to education, health and other services. With MPP, people can access these services more comfortably without having to wait long.

Head of Population Protection Services (Yandafduk) Disdukcapil Garut Regency, Efran Brando (31/1/2024), stated that MPP provides 6 population administration services, starting from e-KTP, Child Identity Card (KIA), Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, to making Family Cards and Digital Population Identity (IKD).

Efran Brando emphasized MPP's aim to provide services that are more easily accessible to residents, whether in sub-districts, offices, MPP, or online.

"The MPP aims to open service taps so that all residents can be served anywhere," said Efran at the Garut Dukcapil Office, Jalan Patriot, Tarogong Kidul District.

Ado said he intended to have 24 services, including data processing. Services can be provided through two counters at MPP, and people only need to come, take a queue number and get the services they need.

Ado's message to the public is to immediately take care of their population registration documents and update their family cards every five years.

MPP services are available Monday-Friday, inviting Garut residents to experience the new atmosphere and services, at the MPP Graha RAA Wiratanudatar VII building, located at Simpang Lima Garut.

"Because we have provided various service sources that can be accessed by residents," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Population Administration Information Management (PIAK) of the Garut Regency Dukcapil Office, Hendra Hidayatullah, said that in one day his party could carry out 50 services.

"Because of that, the number is limited, because at MPP the capacity is (limited), right," he said.

Hendra emphasized that all population administration services are free of charge or free. If there are fees charged, the public is asked to immediately report them to the Garut Regency Dukcapil Office.

"If anyone is harmed, for example, or if someone asks for payment, report it to us immediately, we will take action if it is indeed a SIAK officer or operator at Disdukcapil," he said.

He reminded that the administration of the population administration should be carried out directly by private individuals, i to avoid potential misuse of personal data.
