PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Facing rainfall with hydrometeorological risks, the Bandung City Health Office has put 80 health centers on standby. Including health teams and ambulances.
"If outside of working hours, there is a 24-hour surveillance team. This team will carry out a rapid assessment for recommendations if needed in the field. For example, an ambulance, health post or health team visit is needed. Recommendations are issued by this team," explained the Head of the Bandung City Health Office, Anhar Hadian.
"The hospital is ready with 42 units, the emergency room is ready 24 hours. We will also prioritize if there are flood victims," he added.
Meanwhile, the Director of Bandung Kiwari Hospital, Yorisa Sativa explained that in terms of service there are two types of services, namely static and mobile.
"If static, we prepare each hospital with human resources. Certainly our readiness will be more extra, human resource management, equipment and so on are improved," he said.
"While the mobile can be in the form of a post, this can collaborate with various elements. Starting from specialists, psychiatrists, and other doctors," he explained.
Yorisa said that diseases that usually occur during floods are diarrhea, acute respiratory infection, and dengue fever.
"This requires anticipation. Health centers and private clinics must also help prevent an increase in disease," he hoped.
