PORTALJABAR, KARAWANG REGENCY - Karawang Regent H. Aep Syaepuloh received a Working Visit (Kunker) from Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives during the Recess of Session Period II of the 2024-2025 Session Year in order to discuss land issues, spatial planning and regional financial and budget management, at the Singaperbangsa Hall, 2nd floor, Wednesday (26/3/2025).
On that occasion, Aep welcomed and thanked Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives for selecting Karawang Regency as the location for the Kunker recess for the second session of the 2024-2025 session year.
As is known, Karawang Regency is known as a national rice barn and industrial city, and there are also a number of national strategic projects spread throughout it, one of which is the Whoosh fast train station, the construction of the Japek II Toll Road which is expected to increase efficiency, productivity of the national economy, investment and public accessibility.
Regent Aep said that the Karawang Regency Government continues to strive to create sustainable spatial planning. One of them is by designating 87 thousand hectares of agricultural land in LP2B to prevent land conversion.
