PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Bogor Regent —- The Regent of Bogor reviewed the motocross venue in the Pakansari Stadium area (9/5/2025) as part of the acceleration of the development of an integrated sports area and optimization of land owned by the local government.
The review was conducted to encourage temporary land use for the automotive community, especially for the development of motocross athletes.
The motocross venue was built without the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), but rather independently by the community, with a design from circuit professionals to ensure safety.
This facility will be used as an athlete development center under the auspices of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) of Bogor Regency.
Bogor Regency has not had a facility for developing motocross athletes, so this venue is expected to be a forum as well as an effort to produce high-achieving athletes.
In addition to motocross, the development of the Pakansari area will include a grand mosque, the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) building, a velodrome, and a culinary center.
The development will be organized through the Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) and the Industry and Trade Service (Disperindag) of Bogor Regency.
To support comfort, the construction of a multi-storey motorbike parking lot is also being proposed with a capacity of up to 2,000 units on a 500 square meter plot of land.
Arrangement of Street Vendors (PKL) in the Pakansari area will be carried out by providing representative trading places, without disturbing pedestrians.
The place will be equipped with toilets, prayer rooms, and entertainment stages to make it a comfortable and quality public space.
Pedestrian development from the Mitsubishi area to Cibinong Market has begun without using the APBD.
Furthermore, the Bogor Regency Government will organize the Parung area and accelerate the completion of the Bogor Animal Market which is targeted for completion in 2025.
All programs are part of the vision of building an organized, modern, and inclusive Bogor Regency, covering the sports, creative economy, and public service sectors.
